Trevor turns 12!!

My baby is growing up!! It is hard to believe that my youngest is turning 12!! I can't really call him my little one either - he is taller than me! He had a great birthday. He received his very first phone... It was so cool because he had NO clue that he was getting a phone. So, he was totally surprised!
Trevor requested ribs for his birthday dinner. He loves ribs... especially when my friend Carla makes them! To be honest, I think Trevor was a little disappointed that I would be making the ribs! :o) I did my best to make them just like Carla. I bought 6 - yes... six! - racks of baby back ribs. Trevor had at least 2.5 racks all to himself! Here is a picture of Malcolm, Trevor in the middle, and Kevin (Trevor's good friend) just munching away!

But this picture - by far - is my favorite picture!! You just have to LOVE that face! I think he liked the ribs! hehehe

Happy Birthday baby!

Luck of the Irish!

I love making garlands. They are so much fun to male... and of course, fun to display! And I love that when you are done, they are nice and easy to fld up and store! I had not made one yet for March - so I took advantage of my nice rainy weekend and made this:

The covers are made with chipboard. The paper is by Best Creation Inc. LOVE their paper!

And of course, used fun embellishments such as brads, crystals, punches, flowers, buttons, etc.Hope you enjoyed!!

Wall Hanging

I wanted to make something that I could change out each month, season, event, etc. I had a hard time deciding what to put on the top piece, since it needs to go with every color, every design, etc. I finally decided on a paper piecing of a bear. Ididn't think that I'd be done in time for Valentine's Day... so I started with March - St. Patrick's Day. Now that March is done, I might try to do Valentine's Day after all - because obviously, I did have time!! :o)
I plan on making panels for each holiday (Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc., etc) as well as events such as birthday, back to school, beach/summer, winter, etc., etc.
